RockSchool UK is a music program for kids founded in Leeds, during 2007. Since our first project in February 2008, Rock School UK has seen over thousands young people aged between 10 — 16 years take part in our school holiday courses and linked events. Rock School UK courses are primarily held at our head office ‘The Rock & Roll Circus Rehearsal Studios’, in Leeds.
Every year they perform as the opening to Martians House Centre Stage a Battle of the Bands style completion which helps raise money for the hospice as well as providing the winning band with a slot at Reading & Leeds Festival. Very last minute I was asked to film this years even, below are the videos created for the RockSchool program with footage from the event. This was a challenging multi camera shoot with audio syncing and a tone of editing.
